With a Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Science from Oregon State University, he has a solid foundation in environmental science and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Matthew's passion for forestry and the outdoors began in high school where he excelled in timber sports, ultimately becoming a state champion log roller his senior year. This experience instilled in him a love of the forest and a desire to pursue a career that would allow him to work in this field, where he can spend a vast amount of time outside.
